Heather Gudac

Financial Symmetry is very proud to announce that Emma Turner has successfully earned the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional SM  (FPQP®) designation from the College for Financial Planning. Emma joined FSI as a Wealth Management Intern in 2019 and moved into a Client Service Associate role in 2020 following her graduation from North Carolina State University. Emma becomes FSI’s first FPQP® and is now in a Senior Client Service Associate role.

Emma’s expanded knowledge on financial planning helps better serve and support our clients and Advising team. In addition to her work in financial planning, Emma is an expert on helping clients navigate complex account rollovers and handling estate distributions with compassion and care.

We’re grateful that she’s shared her passion for learning with us. Emma’s drive to further her education has strengthened FSI’s commitment to enhance the lives of our clients and community.

About the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional SM  (FPQP®) designation:

The FPQP® designation program increases the insight and knowledge of financial planning. To be granted the FPQP™ designation, an individual must complete a course of study encompassing the financial planning process, the five disciplines of financial planning and general financial planning concepts, and terminology. Following coursework over four months, individuals must pass an end-of-course exam that tests their ability to combine complex and theoretical concepts and apply them to real-life situations.
