Employee Spotlight- Darian Billingsley

Meet Darian Billingsley—our newest Client Service Associate!

Darian recently joined us full-time as our newest Client Service Associate after completing our internship program.  I knew early on that her ability to complete projects with tidy to-do lists and strong attention to detail would add to our Team nicely.  Darian has a knack for picking up knowledge quickly and she isn’t afraid to take risks while working on something new.  Her love of family and friends, and good conversation, have helped her fit right in with the FSI Team.  I recently asked her a few questions about herself so we can share a little bit about her with our clients.

Darian works directly with clients, assisting them with account maintenance, including onboarding them to our Continuous Service and assisting our Advisors with financial plans. She is also working on improving our new Client Center, specifically with our new cash flow tool.

1. Why did you decide to join FSI full-time?

As an intern at FSI, I was given the opportunity to work hands on in a professional environment as well as learn more about the career path I wanted to pursue. I decided to join FSI as a full-time employee because it allows me to continue working with inspiring individuals who can foster my career development as I gain new experiences each day.

2. What are you most excited about learning in your new role?

I am most excited to go further into depth learning about all the steps included in the financial planning process and getting to know FSI clients on a more personal level.

3. What are some of your favorite activities you enjoy with your friends and family?

Some of my favorite things to do with my friends and family include shopping, hosting binge watching marathons, and sightseeing, whether it’s an art gallery, museum or local park!

4. What’s your favorite vacation/trip you’ve taken?

My favorite trip that I’ve taken is my recent trip to San Diego where I was able to take my youngest brother to California for the first time. We had so much fun!

5. Would you rather go skydiving or take a ride in a hot air balloon?

I would rather go skydiving for the adrenaline rush.

We’re so excited to have Darian on board and hope you stop by to say ‘hi’ next time you’re in the office for a visit.  And for the record, I’ve been asking people about the skydiving and hot air balloon ride a lot lately.  A hot air balloon ride is on my bucket list.
